To withdraw cash from your airtel Money account you need to go to an airtel Shops, airtel distributor shops, Authorised airtel Money Dealer outlets or any of our Partner banks and transfer virtual money to the agent who will exchange this for cash.

Customers on other networks will have ten days from transaction day to retrieve the money else, the money reverses back to the sender.

The range and type of dealers or agents are continuously being extended to maximize coverage and convenience to include small merchants, petrol station chains, supermarkets, post offices and even sole proprietorship.

The case with wrong airtel Money transfers should be negligible as you will always have a chance to review the transaction details to confirm the information before submission and cancel the transaction before the command is sent to the airtel Money system. Note that the reversal is only possible within 5 days of performing the transaction. We will not be able to reverse the transaction after 5 days.

A Customer Care representative will need to verify your account with the information you provided during registration. Make sure the data you are providing matches what you used on your registration form. After successful verification you will receive an SMS confirming password reset to default password 1234. For security purposes you will not be able to conduct any further activity unless you change the default password.
