Zikomo kwa Million Promo Terms and Conditions


  1. The promotion is open to all new and existing Airtel Prepaid customers except for postpaid customers, payphones, hybrid customers (Corporate Accounts Top Up), Airtel employees and their immediate family members, partner employees and agents.

  2. The promotion will run from the 14th December 2016 to 31st March 2017.

  3. The daily subscription fee is K0.25, which can be deducted once-off (for that day only) and auto renewal (deductible for each day of the promotion)

  4. The customer must subscribe daily for them to continue to participate in the promotion. There are two options for subscription:
    1. A daily auto renewal option which Customers can use to make the daily subscription process easier and more convenient (allows the customer to opt-in for the duration of the promotion)
    2. Once-off subscription (To be done each day when the customer chooses) and an opt-out option (in case the customer wants to discontinue the subscription).

  5. The customer must top up more to get more entry points to participate in the draws. Every K1.00 will earn a customer (01) point. The Promotion will have 3 main draws with winners randomly selected:
    1. Weekly Draw - 50 winners of K1, 000.00 each week
    2. Monthly Draw - One customer to win K10, 000.00 monthly
    3. The Grand Draw - One customer to walk away with the K1, 000,000.00 at the grand draw to be conducted at the end of the promotion.
      Prize money will be paid via Airtel money. *Winners that do not have an Airtel Money account after seven (07) days of the money being credited to their account will forfeit their prize thirty (30) days after the end of the promotion. Runners up will be contacted to take up the prize.

  6. Below is the criteria for a customer to qualify for each of the Draws:
    1. Weekly – By opting in at least once in the week.
    2. Monthly – Opting in at least 7 days in the month (all top ups on days opted in will be regarded
      as entries)
    3. Grand draw – Customers must have qualified for each of the monthly draws.

  7. The entry points accumulated by the customer cannot be transferred or converted in preference for any other product or service provided by Airtel.

  8. Subscribers can opt in or out of the promotion as and when they wish. Accumulated entry points will not be lost if a subscriber opts out. Should a subscriber opt in again, they will reclaim their original points balance in full.

  9. All Monies won will be paid net of all taxes applicable at the time.

  10. Winners are only entitled to win one (01) Prize per category subject to 6 above.

  11. Airtel will call the drawn winners for a period of seven (07) days after which the runners up will be called to take up the prizes.

  12. Airtel reserves the right to withhold the prize until satisfied that the claimant of the prize is the bona fide winner, and reserves the right to call for such proof as may be deemed necessary.

  13. Winners agree that it is an express condition of the competition that in order to be eligible to redeem the Prize, the winner shall be required to sign the appropriate acknowledgement of receipt of the Prize, as well as an indemnity and/or waiver of liability as reflected in these terms.

  14. Subject to the provisions of the Competition and Consumer Protection Act and to the extent permitted by any other applicable law, Airtel will not be liable to the participants of the promo or to any other person for any loss or damage suffered (whether direct or indirect).

  15. Airtel reserves the right at any time to modify, suspend or discontinue the promo, with or without prior notice, without liability to any promo participant or any third party. Airtel will under no circumstance be liable to any participant for any error, delay, failure or non-availability of the service, and participants hereby indemnify Airtel against any damage or loss they may sustain as a result of participating or failure to participate in the promo, possession and/or use of the SIM card, Airtel network services, or any error, delay, failure or non-availability of the service at any time.

  16. Airtel reserves the right, at any time, to change these Terms and Conditions and any rules relating to the Promotion, its products and services and to modify its promotions, its products and services at its discretion, without notice.
